Mercenaries also have the 120-LY surgical-strike jump capability, so if they jump into an ally's CS, they can launch one quickly from seemingly "too far" away. The disadvantage of the SSJ is that it's a round-trip -- win or lose, the ships return to their origin when the battle is logged.

ok can go with that answer. Think they are more looking to see what we do at this time as responded to the warning but no reply from them as of yet.
